Halloween, Etc.

Daddy's little girl...
Mommy's little helper...

Geez, I can't believe it's taken me this long to do another post. Sorry everyone. So much has been going on the last few weeks that I'm not sure where to begin. We had the awful fires that happened about two weeks ago. Thankfully all our family and friends are ok as well as their homes. We knew many people that had to be evacuated but thank God everyone came out alright.
On a happier note I went to Las Vegas with my girlfriends, which was really fun. It was so nice for all of us to catch up and relax. Between the four of us we have 5 little girls under the age of four and one more girl and boy on the way (no, not by me). So for us to just get to sleep in, eat an uninterrupted meal, and lay out by the pool with no one to worry about was all we could ask for. It was a great weekend. All our hubbies were at home with the girls and as far as I know they survived and had a goodtime. Sal had a wonderful time with Sofia and said that she was really good. She's always been a "daddy's girl" but even more so after that weekend. It just melts my heart to see how much she adores him.
I'm sure glad that I had the Vegas weekend to relax because this past week has been pretty tiring. Sofia came down with the worst little cold that she's had since she's been born. Her nose was running like a faucet and her cough just sounded horrible. It woke and kept her up for five nights last week. We did everything we could to make her comfortable but sometimes she was just miserable and inconsolable. Luckily, the last few days have been much better so I hope that we are on the upswing of things. She was back to her happy self yesterday and today. So even though her nose is still a little runny and she still has a cough I think she is definitely feeling better.
Halloween was on Wednesday and even though Sofia wasn't her "normal" self we still dressed her up in the cutest "Pirate Girl" costume that I ordered months ago. She looked absolutely adorable!! We went over the neighbors house to trick or treat and then she had the most fun handing out candy to all the trick or treaters that came to our house. It was a lot of fun. She looked like such a big girl in her costume. The hat was the best part but she wouldn't keep it on much...though we did manage to get a few pictures:
